“When Ida Rolf, Ph.D., developed Rolfing more than 50 years ago she called it structural integration. Rolfing works on the web-like connective tissue to release, realign, and balance the whole body. It resolves pain and discomfort from trauma, chronic or acute back pain, repetitive motion injury, and aging,” according to Brian Moore, Advanced Certified Rolfer. Brian was certified by the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in 1982.
Dr, Rolf observed that over time the field of gravity actually accentuates the body’s imbalances and diminishes its flexibility. Through the Rolfing process the body lengthens and aligns in agreement with gravity. A person can then fully inhabit their body and enjoy moving with greater ease and experience a more balanced and efficient use of their body.
As a Rolfer, his holistic approach with his patients is hands-on manipulation and movement education. Rolfing physically changes the body’s structure and energetically improves movement and function. Additionally it can help restore flexibility and increase energy.
Brian Moore has dedicated his career to helping his clients create balance in their body’s and minds and to attain the highest possible level of health and well-being.
